The bioCycle™ system is more than twice the size of the nearest comparable systems and can be as many as five times larger than plastic/fibreglass systems.The large volume is essential:
- For it to be economical to operate and maintain,
- Meet the necessary product safety requirements for complete effluent treatment
- Enable the system to be environmentally sustainable long term.
- The 12,000 litre tank caters for up to 10 people in a home. While this may not be needed now, the large tank can handle additional bathrooms and appliances that may be needed in the future.
- Handles household products effectively. Its 12,000 litre capacity can also handle detergents, fats, oils, grease and bleaches much better than a normal septic tank, meaning that odours are kept under control. As it is a single tank unit, it also has a significantly lower risk of blockages than multiple tank systems.
- Desludging only needed every 7-10 years.
